Benihime Inari Jinja
A small shrine to the fox kami Benihime, located in southeastern Tokyo. The shrine was founded in the Taishou era and Benihime Inari gained a following by granting small wishes and protecting children during air raids on the city in World War II. These same children now bring their families to the shrine to pray for luck and safety. The shrine is currently managed by the Hachikuji family who inherited it from their mother.Hachikuji Nana 八九時なな
